Lord Kismet - kismetbp.com & LOTR
Hello to all, past members & friends of the Kismet Guild.

Adjust your bookmarks to www.kismetbp.com for Lord of the Rings & Main site or wow.kismetbp.com for our Warcraft site.

I have returned to update members on my status and future status of our various sites & games.

I have enjoyed my time off, to recover from pushing myself a bit too much in WOW. The Kismet Sites are languishing in neclect and I have decided to recover and renew my interest in them.

What does the future hold for our sites:
1) www.kismetbp.com will become our Main site again with a LOTR theme
2) wow.kismetbp.com will remain and be accessible by typing it in direct or from a link from the new LOTR site.
3) Old lin site will be moved to lin.kismetbp.com

To help with some common questions i'll get, here are some simple FAQ Answers:
Q1) Where'd you go?
A1) While i've certainly enjoyed Lin, WOW and most importantly spending time with good friends, I needed a break. Often im driven by creating something really special and adding to game play for all. I achieved my goals in WOW, but I pushed myself too far, putting in hundreds of hours and needed to recover. My biggest thanks to those members who understood and gave me some space to get my RL in order.

Q2) Will Lord Kismet be returning to WOW to lead the team?
A2) Sorry I will not be returning to WOW or Updating the WOW site, but will continue to keep the Kismetbp.com domain and its sub sites. I like wow, but its raids and such are bit too time consuming for my current available time to play.

Q3) What prompted you to Return to gaming?
A3) As a Tolkien fan, this is what drew me to become part of the "Ring Alliance" that has shaped members & my destiny for these many years. This is such a unique chance to explore the world that started it all, that nearly every fantasy game, book, movie, etc is based upon. I think I would regret not giving it a go and also miss the chance to spend time with good friends.

Q4) How can you play you have a Mac?
Q4) I am currently gonna get a new Intel Mac which will let me run windows natively as though it was running on a PC. I have looked around on LOTR site and many have been using it successfully. This way i can still use my Mac design programs and also flip over to windows to play LOTR online.

Q5) Will Lord Kismet be leading the team in LOTR?
A5) Not this time around, Lord Cal is still the Leader of Kismet, Ring of Destiny in WOW. I plan to play casual, more for the fun of hanging with friends and less to carry the burden of leadership. I plan to play with Lady Fyre & Sir Blade and hopefully other past members who decide to make the move. I'll be posting an occasional post on the main Kismet site as to what we are up to.

Q6) When you gonna start?
A6) I have already pre-ordered LOTR Online Shadows of Anemar and will be getting the $199 deal for a life time of play. I'll be getting my Intel mac in 1-3 months hopefully and be online to say hello.

Q7) Who swayed you the most to join LOTR?
A7) Once, I asked members to answer the call to WOW and Im thankful for the time and fun we had together. Lady Fyre & Sir Blade have asked for us to answer the Call to LOTR and I'd like to do the same in return.

Q8 ) Where have some of the posts on the site gone?
A8 ) I've switch the forwarding of the domain back to its original location. So anything that was done after the time it was switched to Chummers server will be missing. Though it still is at Chummers site location at: wow.guildofkismet.com/. Members please help by moving any missing posts over to help with the transition. This will be a little confusing at first but we will get it sorted out.
